Dragon fruit chunks and cara cara orange sections tossed with a lime simple syrup and sprinkled with spicy Mexican tajín in a quick, simple fruit salad!

Ingredients

Dragon Fruit Salad

Lime Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • zest and juice of 2 limes

Instructions

  1. If making your own lime simple syrup, combine the water and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from the heat.
  2. Add the zest and juice. Steep 10 minutes. Cool completely then strain.
  3. Combine the fruit in a bowl.
  4. Drizzle with lime simple syrup. Toss gently to combine.
  5. Sprinkle with tajín as desired.

Notes

This dragon fruit salad is best served the same day.
