👩🏻‍🍳 Tamara Talks – What is a pescatarian?

I could be a pescatarian (one who does not eat meat but does eat fish and seafood). So many of my favorite foods come out of the water – oysters, shrimp, scallops, fish. Emphasis on FISH.

When I started putting together this post, I expected some amazing recipes, but I was totally overwhelmed by the quality and variety of the contributions I received. I’m guessing that means there are a lot of fish-lovers out there!

In order to narrow this list to a manageable number, I elected to stay primarily with fish this time; I will bring you a similar collection of shellfish recipes in the near future.  😀

With the change of the seasons, many home cooks tend to rely on meat and poultry for cool-weather fare. I live 45 miles from the Gulf of Mexico (as the crow flies), and I tend to be looking for interesting fish recipes year ’round. My focus with this “roundup” is on dishes that will make your mouth-water when the days are getting shorter… and cooler. Fish soups, stews, and gravies with hearty bases. I hope you’ll find yourself drooling making a few…
